I am a proud alumni of ECV Paris Class of 1997. When the director of ECV Digital, Alexia Moity invite me to become a board member, I accepted in a heart beat. Since then, I travel to France from time to time, to present Disney's approach to digital design,

Help Designers to Thrive in Business

Following the completion of my global executive MBA program at INSEAD, I have come to appreciate the significant role that design and designers play in driving business and innovation for a positive global impact. In May 2021, I hosted my inaugural webinar titled "A Survival Guide for Designers in the Business World" for Master's students from Lille and Aix-en-Provence.

I discussed the functioning of power structures in business and how designers can harness this special ability to create a significant impact in the business world.

I concluded the workshop by assigning a task to the student teams. I asked them to imagine themselves 10 years in the future as design leaders and to consider how they would structure their teams and promote design within their organizations. With their graduation just a few months away, my goal was to encourage them to start envisioning the future of their careers and to foster growth mindsets. Best of luck to them all!

World of Color is an evening water show at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, California. Featuring almost 1,200 musical water fountains, the spectacle incorporates lights, fire, lasers, and fog, along with high-definition projections on mist screens. The show draws inspiration from Walt Disney's iconic TV show, Wonderful World of Color.

Upon its debut in 2014, an interactive web version of the show was developed to enhance online participation and visibility.

Following the successful premiere of the show, we introduced an engaging digital activity called the "Fun Wheel Challenge." This game connects the physical illuminated Ferris wheel with guests' phones. As guests await the start of the show, they are invited to join a specific wifi network. The Ferris wheel displays sequences of colors that guests must memorize and replicate by tapping the corresponding pattern on their phones. The guest who accurately and swiftly responds will have the opportunity to control the Ferris wheel's illumination from their phone for one minute.

Finally, we are extremely proud to present the connected merchandise: glowing Mickey ears featuring the "Glow with The Show" experience at world of color.
